Gift pics coming!

Mary has gotten the most beautiful, fun toys and games! Some of them arrived after the last gift post so on my next days off, I'm going to take pics and post.
She got an AWESOME kiddie accordion from Aunt Alice, Uncle Steve, Aunt Dot and Uncle Bubba. She LOVES it and she is actually really good at it! We are trying to learn some songs. They also sent her the most adorable "picnic set" in a little basket - she plays with it all the time and brings Joe and me "coffee" or "tea" or sometimes just "food" on the little plates. Speaking of tea parties...

Beth knitted her TWO cupcakes (they are so cute - who knew about knitted cupcakes?!) and Mary loves them. She opened her gift and said, "Oh, Mama, these cupcakes are very special!" In the same box was the Most Precious Sweater in History - Beth knit The Drew a cabled green pullover sweater vest. It is so tiny I can't believe it. I can't wait to put him in it because he is going to kill in that thing, y'all.

Aunt Chris, Uncle Andy and the Girls also sent some cool computer games and CDs, which is great because playing on the computer is Mary's latest thing. She is so smart. It took me six months to get comfortable with a mouse - it took her about six seconds.

Grandma sent two awesome cards - one had a kitty with a jewel that Mary liked very much. We call it the Fancy Kitty. Inside was money which is neat because we have started Mary a "piggy bank" which is actually an Oberweis milk bottle (holla, Chicago!) we didn't return. She puts all the loose change in it, but now she actually has some cold hard cash to put in. We are going to have her spend a third, save a third, and give away a third which is what Clark Howard and Suze Orman would do if they had a kid.

My BFF Sara and her hubs Brian sent Mary some fantastic crayons with animal heads! (I know!) and a coloring book of puppies. They also sent Drew a wittle infant sized bwankie wif a froggie head. He is so cute and I know babies love these 10" lovies and I know this will be his favorite little guy.

We can't say thank you enough for all the creative, unique, fun things Mary got for her birthday and Drew got for his almost-birthday. We are so grateful.
