Big-girl bed.

Got it a few months back, but she didn't really seem terribly interested.

On a lark, I put her in it for a nap the other day - I was watching her on the monitor and when she got out of bed (twice), I walked in, told her it was naptime, and put her back in bed. No tears, no argument, and after just those two times she went to sleep.

A couple of days later, Joe put her in the bed for her nap, and she only got out once.

Last night, she slept all night in the bed. We tucked her in and she didn't even get out once. She doesn't even bother anymore. And she slept peacefully all night.

Good thing, too, because she was getting VERY agitated every time we put her in her crib. She was NEVER like that - never, ever cried about going to bed. But lately, she would holler and try to throw her leg over the rail. (And she would get very close to doing it.) When we'd close the door, she would stop and go to bed, but there was drama before we walked out.

She seems to love her new bed. No crying or screeching - just a nice, calm getting-in.

Phew.
